no, not a ringer, go full docs and all good, looks like a down graded 350 to 250, surprising amount of trouble gone to mind to do that, no matter, it will be rebuilt to a 350 in all its glory I am sure, not by me though I doubt, it could be sold subject to a viewing next week If your bringing up that R I'll do you the favour of getting that out your way too 😉 Steve

I reckon 'stolen recovered' and as it was quite new at the time they did it up with spares from a crashed bike. +1 on that notion. Also 4 owners is telling, as It's nothing to brag about, in My part of the world at least.

Dave I bought a two owner TZR250 a couple of years ago , unfortunately the last owner had an accident on it and died , the bike was parked up for a few years and there was very little damage to the bike and it looked all original and very low mileage. So I restored the bike got it on the road then did a HPI check , it came back as stolen when it was 6 months old and had a changed of colour etc , sounds like it had been stolen for parts , to me it looked like it had never been apart .

I think all the good bits ended up on a real 250 converted to 350 to pass under the radar and this 350 was rebuilt with the left over 250 parts and sold .
