those are tragic..and mine...true not LC related (thankfully) but in the same theme of : what-the-f**k-were-you-thinking-you-spazz......a 180/70 x 17 tube in a 2.75 x 17 tire (Honda CB125S) until it finally punctured I could NOT understand while riding, the tire felt flat but always seemed to have the correct pressure..

there's no excuse for them wirebrushed heads but I kind of have sympathy for the others....there were times...back then...when money was a mere dream and you'd do anything to mend an injured steed just so you could...go to the chippy and attempt to look cool or get to work or college or school...or all of the above....

No photos I'm afraid......but on a 125LC I used to own, I was having trouble with the start of the thread on the crankshaft (where the nut holds the flywheel on). Took a hacksaw and actually cut through about 1/4" of the crank (took bloody ages!), then started the thread again with the hacksaw!! Worked fine.......happy days......

I bought a pair of 125 Belgarda wheels a few months ago off a young lad (£50) and the front wheel had a rear tyre fitted! Maybe his TZR 125 didn't handle too well so he came off and broke the bike. Worrying an MOT tester didn't pick up on this.

Jesus Christ hudtm60! I nearly fell off my chair with laughter when I saw your post, that one really is 24crt stupidity. But I am still laughing because I want to know how, after the puncture repair, did you get it back in??
