Did you guys need planning permission for your second homes at the end of your gardens? Thinking of doing something similar myself. You don't need planning permission as long as you build within certain restrictions that are not very strict at all .. my a***hole neighbours built an outbuilding ten metres by seven in their garden under permitted development rules hence no permission needed. www.planningportal.co.uk/info/200187/your_responsibilities/37/planning_permission/2Thank you, I appreciate that

some treasures in there....but yes that's actually what I'm trying to avoid. but I have a safety that will prevent that kind of enviable accumulation. Some people call it "the missus" in my case it's just "cash"

I thought my garage was packed out until I saw your photo Baz... How on earth do you move around in there without damaging all those bikes? IMG_6152 by mark.morgan07, on Flickr IMG_6154 by mark.morgan07, on Flickr

if you get rid of that fridge and washing machine you will have room for another bike I've thought about that but the beer's in the fridge. The tumble drier days are numbered though.

It's true- I don't think I'll ever sell anything. The kid will just have to deal with it when I'm gone. Morgy's place looks like a modern day Chitty Chitty Bang Bang set....and/or you just moved into someone's swank kitchen....so what's under the hood of the Cobra?

It takes me seconds to do a little post. You should try it, I guarantee you will not do it any other way afterwards.. Cheers Dono
