Aye, their prices in general just seem crazy to me.

Four and a half grand for an XS250... the world has gone mad! 'Beautifull' condition though .. maybe the extra 'l' means something we aren't aware of ..

I am not defending them because I believe they are taking the piss, however how much does a concourse build cost after you have bought a 4lo today? Factor in time, parts, paintwork etc versus the costs of new bikes etc then add in nostalgia and add the rose tinted goggles

Amazing bikes like that exist. I'd like to know the history.

A bunch of c**ts. Preying of idiots who have no idea of what they are buying, and what can be had elsewhere for far less. With no morals either....

There's a lot on their site that has been sold as well, I would assume they are not all overpriced, but a carefully set out showroom, with some period gear thrown in, and a row of gullable punters, and disposable cash. if you can't restore, don't have the time or skills, why not buy something you 'desire' After all, we're only here once.

The place is actually The Car Specialists. They have loads of mega expensive cars in there. I've no doubt someone turns up, thinks £120k for that Ferrari and why not I'll have that blue bike for another £10k. Neither will ever be used just parked up in some super sized garage.
It's a place for a different sort of buyer from those of use that own and ride the things. There is obviously a market for them, it's just that most of us aren't in their target demographic.

I think that it's a real shame that such vehicles won't actually be used on the road.

If you did it'd probably loose half its value in a trip to the shops. There are plenty of used ones out there, as it was hardly a rare bike. Just a rare bike to see on the roads these days as they are all squirrelled away. I know what you mean though. Jon
