Hi lads (and lasses)3
Has anyone fitted one of these to an LC? I've seen a few on ebay but there are no clear fitting guides, surely something needs to replace both cables. I'm hoping to use on on a hybrid I'll be building (thread not yet started!) so any advice would be a great help!

No idea what one to buy. Prices vary wildly, I just need one with speedo, rev counter and water temp really!

I used a koso RX2 Unit on my build, has all the functions you require and a few more. You can see pictures in my build thread. I also used the koso speedo adapter so speed is picked up from the speedo drive as I didn't like the brackets for the magnet approach.

I've got a Koso RX2N+ that I will happily swap for £115 if that's what you're after

Few guys have some some real trick set ups, with digital units mounted in the original clock cases, mix of modern and original which I really like, Dave (muttsnuts on here) might be able to advise on that

My Koso uses a GPS sensor attached under the plastic electrics panel on my F2 hybrid .Saves using the magnets, brackets and cables.

Thanks Mark, thats a nice idea and is probably cheaper if you haven't got your own workshop.

Thanks Mark, thats a nice idea and is probably cheaper if you haven't got your own workshop. Thinking about getting one myself just for the simplicity of setting it up compared to magnets etc .. £85 is far from cheap but it is a great little thing to have on any special.

It was an easier and neater solution for me as I have titanium disc bolts so the magnets would not stick in the holes, although i could have just used one steel bolt for the magnet.

Wired up the DB speedo today , works a treat , that gps sensor think that,ll be going on the other as the cable is too short for the rear , look neater too...thxs Mark more to buy..!!!
