Anyone put Air cooled alloys in an LC? I'm thinking of doing it for a project, is it just a case of getting alternative sized bearings to fit the LC spindles? Cheers Wang

Weren't the rear wheels disc brake? I know Sr and Xs had drums though, could be and probably am wrong.

I would go for the Daytona / 400E-F wheels as they are lighter and wider .

That's a prototype in the pic, those wheels never made it to production on the LC. As you know, the aircooled RD had a disc rear and I think the front spindle may be a different diameter to the LC so you could fit aircooled wheels but it will take a bit of fettling. Think the rim sizes were same as the LC ones.

It should be do-able if I can get the correct bearing sizes though??

Great! Was there an axle size issue? If so did you redrill the fork holes.. or ? And what width are those rims.. Memory claims they were wider than the LC ones.. are they ?
