Tomorrow I will be collecting my restoration project that will be keeping me busy for the foreseeable future. It's one owner from new and was laid up in his garage in the early 90's and hasn't moved since. Below is a picture taken by the owner. It isn't totally original as he admitted that he liked to tinker. My goal is to return it back to stock as best I can but I will have to see as I go on whether that will be possible.

Thanks. Well I got it back to my workshop and onto my work bench, which was a job in its self. That is one heavy bike! I noticed that the inside of the tank is furred up, can anybody recommend a cleaning fluid and/or method for cleaning it out?

Same colour as the one I had in '78. Wish I had one now.

Code is Y1 Silver Dust. Paint is available from RS Bike Paints although you may need a small bank loan to buy some
