I've tried a couple of LED headlights, and most are pretty rubbish, no focussing of the beam, and scatter light everywhere, might be ok with an LC as it has a round bowl, from what I've experienced the LEDs are in a different position to the traditional filament, and sit in/out too far. They should work as technology gets better, maybe Philips etc might have cracked it??

I've got one in my LC.
I can't remember driving it at night, although I've had the lights on in a darkened garage and it seemed bright enough. Sort of blue/white tinge rather than a yellowy one.
I know when I take it for an MOT it passes on the board as as dip and main. I can't remember the make, but do have a spare I could dig out and take photos of if I can find it!
