Very handy if you have the air supply, but you can get them a lot cheaper on ebay.

There good for small parts if the compressor can keep up
I wear extra goggles because it blows through the edges and makes your eyes sore
Also the light doesn't last long and can be hard to see what your doing

I have one, its 'ok'. it really needs a dust extraction system (shop vac is what i use) but its a bit limited. it does leak air a bit so may need extra sealing and the lighst are crap. there is a post on the RDRZ forum where i swapped mine out for some home made LEDs, I'll try and find it for you. You will also need to do a bit and then wait for the compressor to catch up, ie dont blast for an hour or you'll kill any compressor, even a big one. Id i was buying again Id probably buy a bigger one on a stand, but everyone says that when they buy airtools... same with compressor, buy at least one up from what you think you want, and boy are those direct drives horribly noisy, get something belt driven.

Thanks
I already have a direct drive noisy compressor!! Thanks for the info on the cabinet, my other option is paint remover.. so it is a case of bad vs worse choice here..

Well dont get me wrong Kostas, it will work and you will be happy with it, especially for small stuff. theyre not expensive units and they do work, even with small compressors. get one, why not

I have one too, and it is a handy (if limited) piece of kit.
As others have said ignore the CFM recommendation as they eat air. I've found if I couple my 2 3.5HP compressors it's just enough.
As also said lights are crap and will fail. I replaced with a slightly different fluorescent tube.
Also put draft excluder around the lid to keep the dust in, but prefer using a paper mask as well as a face shield.
If you've got patience then get one as they can take a lot of time to take paint off, but good results in the end.
