Have you tried the other links from Flickr or just the BBCode one? You can also upload your avatar direct to your profile too but there is a limit on pixel and file size to do that.

Howdo All....this post aimed at Norbo mostly or other site adminstrators........Its "2bims" here off the BimotaForum.co.uk.....Our Wonderful Admin person Katy...a computer whizz kid by trade and profession...has figured out a loophole on Photobuckets recent ransom demand and withholding of photos shared via Forums....Our site has now had all its photos restored by her fixing and tweaking our website...that is for anyone that hasn't deleted their Photobucket account......

Hi Shaun, no snow or dandelions? Well that proves that the pic can be seen! thanks. Bikes all tucked away for winter, that pic was end of summer so pre-snow and no need to prune dandellions or cut my plastic grass, so more time for bikes, booze and buxom women. Well i can live in hope!

Hi I had been told that there was now a way around this (for those who haven't deleted their accounts on Photobucket). If you suffix the URL with ~original then they currently seem to appear. Code: [img style="max-width:100%;" src="http://i58.photobucket.com/albums/g277/thestockcar/bikes/bimota_shock001.jpg"] change to:- [img style="max-width:100%;" src="http://i58.photobucket.com/albums/g277/thestockcar/bikes/bimota_shock001.jpg~original"] So for example:- On the Bimota forum I hacked around directly on the database using SQL to update all the links. Bit risky so I had to back things up first. And not sure how much direct access you have to the database here. All the best Katy

Is flicker still the best/only way to upload? Got another surge of optimism and enthusiasm to give the best current methods a go...
Taking pics easy, emailing pics easy, messaging and WhatsApp etc easy, post on a forum ........about as much fun as cleaning dirt from the sprocket area of the engine cases!

I have just tried the Flickr2bbcode lite. Shared an image from Flickr but does not generate a code. Have tried it on a Huawei phone & a Lenovo tablet both Android. Going to see if I can get Tapatalk to work Update:- got Flickr2bbcode working, need to have picture set as public NOT private

Seems flikr2bbcode is no longer available, struggling to load pics now from my flikr account.
Edit ....still seems to be available and working on my tablet running older version of android, but not the case on my p20 pro phone running android 9.0.0

Any more help with uploadinv photos? Ive got flikr but can't see a "bbcode" option under share and there's nothing on play when I search flickrbbcode.
I seem to be able to copy a link to a photo, but not actually post a photo in a thread.
Any help would be appreciated.

In their own help section it says: Copy the BBCode Click a photo to open it. Click the Share icon. Click BBCode. Pick the size you want to display. Copy the code and use it on your website. When I click the photo it pops up in a box at the bottom. When I click the share icon it gives me four options: Facebook, Tumbr, Twitter and P Interest.

I think you need to go into photostream in flickr and share the pic to get the BBCode option

ahthud ajh steve63 how are you accessing Flickr and the forum? I use a desktop pc so the guide is just what I myself do, but I know that Flickr doesn't give a BBCode if you are using your smartphone or tablet. Other members use different photo hosting successfully so maybe Flickr just won't work for you - reply to this post and say how you access Flickr and I'll try find a solution for you.

I tried on my smartphone but like you say no proper code and ended up using a combination of the phone, tablet then my old laptop to get a pic up LOL

I never used to be able to get a BBCode on my iPad, but after an iOS update a while ago I can.

I use a Mac or PC desktop. Mine works fine, my point was you have to go into the 'photostream' in flickr not the 'camera roll' to get the BBCode option when you go to 'share' (In this day and age though the forum is really clunky for getting images loaded up!)
