Do these actually do anything ? The NK site claims advancing +2 or +3 gets 2 to 3 BHP
Any dyno results ?

Only works on certain stator. Can't remember which off the top of my head
More advance at the top end (especially with spannies) will give more power but the draw back is that it )like an offset woodruff key) also increases right across the range so you also up the advance at the highest point in the midrange which ain't always good

I'd rather spend more and get an ignatec or zeel and do it properly

Check where timing actually currently is.. with a strobe. Then you will see where you are with timings Easiest is to use the Zeel handheld to move ignition about.. once you have identified a reference. Advance/retard is... Opposite.. to what one would typically use/strive for on a 4 stroke engine.. tread lightly
