F2 Clutch Adjustment

hi peeps................can sum 1 enlighten me on the clutch adjustment plz........haynes manual dont make sense to me........its on about bar adjuster and inline adjuster which mine dont have

if sum 1 could tell me should the pointer bit line up with the clutch lever in resting position or once the slack has been took up??

on mine at the moment if i set the slack to about 10mm as it should b the pointer is one side of the mark but if i take the slack up by pulling lever it goes to other side of mark so doesnt line up whichever way

have you got the side casing off?
this is where the main adjustment on an f2 clutch is
locking nut and small screw on the clutch itself
set this to as near as poss and then adjust the cable when this is done

yup the casings off. i know it says turn till slight pressure then back off quarter of a turn but should the pointer line up with lever untouched or with slack took up when u pull it m8?
