It is a bit sh1t
I just think it funny that they measured them on one thing and taxed them on that and incentivised the industry to make them cleaner which they did
Now they have made them "clean" they measure them on something different.
Funny how they can make them burn cleaner and use half as much fuel they then say they are dirty.
Next they will be telling us smoking kills and booze destroys your liver. What crap next.

The amount of 2 strokes left is minuscule compared to the diesel vehicle's, little impact by getting rid of us.

There are a quite a few smokers when you consider the number of hand held tools like petrol strimmer etc.
I think we should ban electric cars. There is more pollution from power stations than cars. Lol
Don't see how they can hammer diesels as most vans, lorries and taxis are oil burners

...what about 2 stroke diesel,s ? Lots of marine engines are still 2 stroke diesels. This is a Sulzer 8 RND 90 ( 8 cylinders 900 mm bore) and approx 25,000 hp or so. It is the biggest 2 stroke engine I have worked on, and I looked after if for a while during my nine years in the merchant navy. The boat is now called RFA Fort Rosalie, it was called RFA Fort Grange when I was on it in the 1990,s. It ticks over at approx 50 rpm and is flat out at 125 rpm. It is a reversing engine. When you want to go astern, you move the cam shaft for the fuel pumps, which brings in another set of lobes and the engine runs backwards. As I turned 50 recently, it feels like a million years ago I was buggering about on the high seas ! steven. www.royalnavy.mod.uk/our-organisation/the-fighting-arms/royal-fleet-auxiliary/stores/rfa-fort-rosalieen.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fort_Rosalie-class_replenishment_ship

There are probably more people removing the CATs on petrol cars and bikes and EGR valves on Diesels than 2-strokes in use. Perhaps they should stop the sale of those kits before they ban 2-strokes.
