I don't know that particular brand but the gel batteries are very handy if hiding the battery under a seat hump etc as they don't have to be kept upright like a normal lead/acid battery .

Looks OK to me OP, Ive been using motobatts for 6-7 years and really rate them on all my bikes.

German and Gel being the important words LOL Possibly or sothe never seeming to die Myth of German engineering goodness claims :-) Batteries in My Cars (acuras) are on their 12th birthday and recently load tested to be presumed good for some time yet. Battery life as applies to Lead Acid Cells at least, is the direct result of a capable charge system.. either by design/manufacture OR serendipity. Fair guess the latter on a Yama.
