Guys are the bushes supposed to have any play in them when fitted over ends of the powervalves minus castle seals? I've bought new valves and seals and was just going to reuse the bushes but when I've came to fit them I've noticed a bit of play in them. Thoughts pleaseπ

They're not a 'tight' fit, as the O'ring and castle seal do that, but also shouldnt be sloppy if that makes sense? You can nromally see any wear when they are cleaned up as it will have worn through the coating on the bush slightly, and will look shiny.

Thanks mate π I know what you mean and they are a tad sloppy so guess it's more money on bushes Was hoping to get away with them 22k on the clock no grooves in them but a tad shiny as you say

Coating? Rather than Buy new bushings to fit worn bit's of ali pretending to be a bearing surface on the PV's. Have the PV's heat sleeved with steel tubings.. and then your existing PV bushes reamed to fit. Fairly straightforward job by most capable machine shops. Unlikely to cost more than new oem Bushes :-) The result will likely live longer than your Frame
