Guys if there's not much flats on the ends of inner valves where the joiner goes are they goosed? Before I took the joiner out it was wobbling up and down a fair bit, the ends a pretty rounded π Best place to buy them? Thanks

Well Β£190 from them dusty is better than Β£280 Yamaha one eBay π³ So the m b design ones would just swap over dusty with no probs yea? I'm getting the barrels rebored too. Thanks antos

+1 Just let Martin know which engine you have as the pv's differ slightly. He is a great fella to deal with so you'll have no issues. Have a close look at your pv joining piece too, they wear and get sloppy - often before the ends of the valves do so you may end up changing that too. Dusty

I got mine from Fast From The Past, one hiccup is that the LH outer end wasn't threaded, a tap took care of that though
$99US for the pair plus postage
Again you need to choose from 31K or 1UA

Hi Stusco
They've been in for 2.5 years now and 5000km no problems so far
It was probably a once off where I had to tap the pulley side to attach the PV pulley, no big deal, just initially could figure why the pulley screw wouldn't go in

Luckily I was able to reuse the bushes I had
There are no leaks from either side
Certainly if the new rebuild allows I will use the PV's that came with that otherwise I will get them from FFTP again

Couple of thoughts.. I got Billet PV valves years ago.. via the infamous Australian shyster.. albeit with a Year! delivery time. Asked for the 1UA valves cuz they claimed as profiled for the slightly different 1ua exhaust. Welll.. I had to put in over an hour .. each .. grinding/reshaping them.. to fit properly ie unobstructive of the exhaust gass path So much for their skillful design Also the PV's bearing shaft sizes were off (varying size!).. Grrr. On Brand New Yama supplied Bushes. When questioned the Twit claimed it was purpose done for heat reasons. Bollocks imo :-) I then Sleeved the (new) PV shafts to suit my brand new oem bushes. Been running 'perfectly' for years. Hopefully weird wicked's bits are better made.
