LC front mudguard bracket - what finish are people using?

Looking at the ones Ive got it seems these were nickel plated, unless im mistaken... what are people refinishing theirs with?

- yes i have looked on skillsplus, but the pic is awful of this part, it just looks 'silvery'
- yes I do know you only see the bottom 1cm, but i want to do these right....

Looks like zinc plated to me

If you look on norbo's sale page you can see it on the new muddy's

Had a couple of mine bright zinced too.

The YPVS ones looked yellow passivated in comparison

Jon I have a NOS rdlc front guard in the cupboard if you want a pic looks zinc to me!

Have contact in Brisbane that has done some parts now good job and very fair with price as well.

Cheers Rob, if everyone is saying zinc then i believe em I was going to do it superchrome powdercoat but it screwed up when I added the clear, I can redo that as it looks very close but maybe will just zinc... hmm...

I zinc plated mine my self and finished it in yellow passivate along with pop rivets and washers .

You can get a zinc spray... something like this...

Works well as a rust protection on bare metal.
