hi mate yes there right home i think it never had a seal that side as im thinking its been machined down to fit the arm or i,m missing a trick here

Why machine it down when you could just swap the spacer instead

yes mate ive reused same bearings as they were best part new the seal i got off norbo would fit the outside but the doesnt fit the spacers if that makes sense matt

I asked if the bearing was right home because I had trouble with one of mine after getting the hub powdercoated You can see if there's a gap if you look from the back If the inner part of the seals bigger than the spacer it might have been changed for the metmachex swinger

ill have another look at it tomorrow night matt & report back but im pretty sure there home , why is it with this fooking bike everything a problem ,sometimes i feel like breaking it up for spares !! any how thanks matt

There should be a seal there but it's only about 5mm thick
If it has been modded as you have a sealed bearing you can just make a new spacer with a flange on the end just smaller than the bearing size

The seal looks like the one that fits the speedo drive on the front wheel

ahh thanks shytalk that was just what i was after mate thanks so MUCH right ive had a look & think i just need the right oil seal so i may have messed up when i ordered these off norbo so without sounding really dim , i dont really want too order another wrong seal have you got a part number or link to the one i need thanks again pete
