My arm is being adapted by NK racing I requested he uses a run of nylon on mine as it is an obvious weak spot

I adapted a nylon pit bike slider for mine. Soaked it in boiling water, cable tied it into position. Then finally fitted it with stainless steel countersunk screws.

The arm I bought from them had the ugliest chain slipper fitted that I've ever seen, and I paid £25 for the privelage of having it supplied and fitted at the factory ! Obviously a part meant for a different bike. It looked better after I trimmed it down. The arm in the Lc hybrid hasn't got one. When you are paying £800 for a swingarm why cant they fit a slipper as standard? The chain would soon mash the alloy without one Anyway, I plan on a cheap chopping board from a Pound shop - white nylon type - which you can cut/shape/shamfer easily enough. Cut a few and you can sell the rest to other Metmachex owners who don't have one yet !! You'll do a better job of it for sure Dusty

Look at a motocrosser chain slipper
For my kr1s swingarm I fitted one as you need one really Had to drill and insert some rivnuts for 4 x 5mm bolts though

Hi Veg You had a problem with Metmachex too ? I'm over it now, but at the time I was really angry. I was in the middle of a health scare and not in a good place, and Dean's attitude towards me when I found the wheel didn't fit left a lot to be desired to say the least. He has zero customer service skills. Even the new spacers he sent weren't right so in the end I measured it all up myself and got my local engineers to make a spacer that cost me a further £40 . If there was another firm doing swingarms I would have sent his one back, but as we all know there is nothing else you can buy really, so I suppose he can carry on however he likes and he'll still sell them !
