Did a compression test today and its showing 95 psi on both cylinders bike has 22k miles anyone know what's the normal range? Thanks

110psi is the norm but depends on how accurate the gauge is really.

Thank you sir π It's a new one so should be somewhere nearπ So really my 95 reading is a bit below par but should still run ok me thinks.

Depends on gauge calibration and how you use it. wot and kick til gage stops moving, 5-7 kicks on mine.

Compression tests are ambiguous. Two testers will often get differing results on the same engine with the same test gear. That said: 95 psi = rebuild time.

Thanks mate, it's coming to bits soon ,ordered the tools and the frame is nearly stripped ready for powderπ

Glad that helps. Personally I'd rattle can spray a frame rather than powder coat it. Looks better with oem style paintwork and doesn't result in screwhole and fit issues either
