Hi Just got home as the rain has started, and postie has dropped the latest Practical Sportsbike mag through the door (Feb 17). Looks like a good article on Lc vs Ypvs - which 2t twin is the true classic ? Certainly worth buying this month Dusty

I get it delivered. It's one of my Xmas prezzies every year - subscription gets it to you a few days before it's in the shops. Well worth it for two reasons. 1 - I don't have to go to my local Tesco's to pick it up, meaning I don't have to deal with all the pyjama wearing pond life that seem to spend their day in there swearing at their unruly kids, and 2. You get to see the classifieds a bit earlier. Got a bargain 350lc a couple of years ago thanks to it being delivered !! Dusty

Last year i stepped off a boat in hull and went to Asda (i think) and was also a bit surprised at what i saw. Lots of people full of tatoo's in training suits spitting on the pavement. It could be that i am turning into a snob and don't realise it.

Still waiting for my copy to arrive by carrier pigeon here in the colonies unfortunately.
I always have a fight with PS come renewal time, as they are £15 more expensive than CMM for broadly the same product. I always get a discount by ringing up but it does give me the shits. If it wasn't such a good mag, I wouldn't bother.
First world problem eh? 😜

Hi Yea, it's a good article, but then I enjoy any that are written about Lc's/pv's etc, and PS magazine do tend to cover our bikes and strokers in general quite often. Performance Bikes was the best mag back in the 80's - I used to buy it every month and had hundreds of them, but the 90's saw it's attention change to modern superbikes and they seemed to lose interest in 70's and 80's two strokes. I think I stopped getting it around 93 or 94. PS was a breath of fresh air when it came out and it never fails to disappoint. As Marsbar said, the test wasn't really fair in some respects but it did highlight the differences that 3 years r&d can make. Dusty

No, you're not, it's just that this is the unfortunate face of chavy Britain in the 21st century. Not really surprising we're disliked throughout Europe.
