Wow that's impressive, what did you use, my daughters got a Micra, and was going to do hers soon, I tried with an orbital polisher last time, but the shine didn't last that long, and I didn't get them looking that good.
every little helps as the lights are truely sh###e, (and a common problem too), has it improved the road vision much??

I used the same stuff I've done screens with before, if you search my posts you'll find everything there, I started off with P2000 wet and dry then scratch remover. She hasn't taken it out yet but I'd say they're 💯 % brighter, it's not permanent but should last for around 12 months before it'll need redoing.

The "plastic£ has a special coating on it which when sanded/polished gets removed
they will yellow again after a year or so, not a lot you can do to stop it
One thing that is useful is UV Cut bulbs

Really impressive, did you use an orbital sander or did you polish the lights by hand?

Really impressive, did you use an orbital sander or did you polish the lights by hand? I use a drill on the slower speed and 3" pads.
