Hi Me and my lad went last night - he is 18 and I'm 50, and we absolutely loved it I've been a big fan since seeing the first film in 77 and my lad first saw "A New Hope" when he was 4 on video !! His best mate's dad- Lee Towersey- worked on The Force Awakens- he owns the R2d2 droid that was in the film and operated it on set. He now travels the world doing promo work for Disney. Really weird when you go round their house and R2 is stood in the hallway !! Dusty

This latest film is one of my favourites of all the Star Wars films. Action packed from start to finish, and the subtle humour is still there too. And the cgi is absolutely incredible - I wont give it away but once you see the film you'll know what I am talking about !! Disney have done a great job with the story lines and them buying the rights from Lucas was a real shot in the arm for the saga. Our friend Lee is living the dream for sure. He was in a club of owners that had built their own R2 units. One of the guys approached a bigwig at a Star Wars celebration, and said if they ever did more films and needed droids, then he would be up for it. Well he got the call and he took Lee along with him and they both worked on the film with their R2's. Lee did a lot of work at Pinewood, which is not far from us, building various droids for the film, plus operating his R2 on set, and once it had been released he was then asked to do the promo work which takes him all over the place. Lucky guy !! Dusty

its one that is defo for the star wars fans, and fits very well between the original 3 movies and the 3 prequels that were done in the early noughties

Was a little apprehensive about this film thinking it may not be worthy of a star wars title. How wrong was i, bloody brilliant a great film and fab story that fills in so many gaps in the star wars saga. It really is a must watch even as a stand alone film it can more than hold its own. Great to see star wars evolve and the direction there going with the creativity is awesome. Loved it!
