Fitted a brand new yambits throttle cable a while ago and balanced slides and only just had enough adjustment left on the thread to get oil pump marks lined up. Can't seem to get enough free play for slides, when i slack off to put some play at throttle the oil pump marks dont line up. just can't seem to get it how it should be, i guess the cables aren't the best and wondering if any other good patern ones out there, if not it looks like iv'e got to get a genuine cable.. Cheers.

Get one of Norbo's OEM quality ones, I've had mine on for about a year now, no problems Steve

Yes, get one from Norbo. It will over oil a lot in the lower to mid range with a pattern cable. Seen it a good few times now.

taken loads of yambits cables off and replaced with genuine ones for customers, its just not worth it, just bite the bullet and buy a genuine one, or as others have said, try one of Norbo's as not heard any bad reports about them

Another endorsement for Norbo's throttle cable. AFAIK they are identical in measurement to the gen Yam ones. Norbo's one fitted perfectly.

Would be nice and easy if norbo's shop had a buy it now option or add to basket and do a big shop without complications.
