Anyone ridden one? If so what they like? Getting rid of my duc 851 as I cannot ride it anymore due to old bike injuries and I love 4 stroke twins. Owned quite a few and now fancy something a little different

Haven't ridden one but the dealer started one up for me and boy was it noisy. Not exhaust noisy but bucket of bolts noisy.

I own dukes with dry clutches I know that noise. Guess I need to ride one. It won't be a new one I know that.

A Norton turned up at Rivington on Sunday. Looked lovely, but when he started it up it sounded like two skeletons sh@gging in a biscuit tin.

I've got one and love it. Yes the clutch is noisy but it handle like a dream, stops well and is quick off the mark. The only thing I had too do was soften the rear end a bit as hitting bumps at speed sent me out of the seat. Also the rear wheel was out of alignment from the factory, that made going round right handers a bit harder till I sorted it out. There is a bit of vibration below 3k but smooths out higher in the rev band.

Rode a BMW r nine and a new thruxton a guzzi griso and a Harley sportster 1200 roadster and have realised what i want is a aircooled twin with torque that my hip and knees don't getmullered on.
