I've got mikuni tm32 on one ypvs hybrid and mikuni tmx35 on another. No problems and easy to set-up/jet. Baz

Baz do you need different inlet rubbers etc
What about the height like mentioned above ?
After years of PWK 28 carbs I just fancy a change as I have never got them to fuel right , especially lower revs They made good power but would like to try something different as a comparison
I know some folks took them off altogether

Yeah you do need new inlets, for 2 reasons. First reason is that carbs are taller and float bowl on left carb will foul clutch operating arm on ypvs engine. Secondly the inlet stub is to big to fit standard inlet rubbers. I run the alloy inlets with v-force reeds,on these inlets you can specify what size rubber will fit your inlet stub. Also you will need to run pod filters as the air intake side is also bigger. But does really make carb removal for jetting really simple. The dimensions of these carbs are on the "allens performance " website. Then of course you will need to make custom length throttle cables.I made mine from a kit from venhill engineering ,but I also run a domino quick action twin pull throttle with no splitter box as I run premix. So as usual with so many modifications, one thing leads to another, but it all worth it in the end!😄

I run TMX 38s and have found them to be decent carbs just a shame the needle literature is a little more complicated than the Keihins
