Hi, I think your best bet would be to have them polished by a professional first and then just give them a tickle up now and then.

Best Google metal polishing in your local area and hopefully something will turn up
Sometimes they aren't called anything to do with polishing

Just get a polishing kit and try it yourself. Its not a complex shape to polish, just keep the metal moving. If you don't get the finish you want, and I don't see why you wouldn't, then take it to a pro.

Easy to polish your self if you've got a bench grinder and polishing mops I regret polishing mine although they look like chrome I now prefer them as they come (all those nice welds) So make sure you really want them polished as you can't go back

Hi Give it a go yourself. A decent polishing kit isn't a lot of money, as long as you have a bench grinder. You can go as far as you want then. I never go too blingy with bike parts as you will be forever keeping them up, but the choice is yours. Plus it's nice to transform them yourself, even if it does turn your snot black !! Dusty
