As a reward to myself for completing the RD350LC mars bar build.... I bought another bike LOL. My wife calls it "The Italian Job" MV Augusta Brutal 910S.... Ain't it sexy? An indescribable blast to ride

I really looked after my rear hub bearings(run the chain slightly loose and DO NOT over torque pinch bolts!)And service them every year, and do not put pressure washer anywhere near them. The design is very poor and if you go on the mv agusta forum you will read about numerous hub bearing failures! My mates broke up and he lucky not to have crashed. He bought a modified hub from a guy in Australia I think. I fitted it for him,the standard hub bearings are about the size of push bike steering head races,no wonder they fail on a 160bhp motor!!!!

Thanks guys. Yah I'm aware of the hub issues, and the related chain tension stuff. Most of the bearing issues seem to come from overtorqueing the rear as best as I can tell. I'm a bit of a maintenance freak when it comes to my life and machines like these. Replacement bearings are standard sizes, relatively cheap, and I'm prepared to replace them at any time they don't look good. I didn't buy this bike to be an everyday all-around do everything well enough type of bike... I have Hondas for that. I got this because it's a sexy Italian beast with a heart of pure dark evil, and that it is...
I'll put up with a few non-practical quirks to have this arrow in my quiver.
