Hi all
I have just got a 31K YPVS (Belgium import), but I don't have the steering lock key. Can anybody please point me in the right direction as to :
i) How to remove the existing lock (is it a case of remove the cover and it slides out?) ii) What the replacement part number is because I can't find it anywhere.
Many thanks Steve

I usually just drill and tap a hole in the lock and fit a bolt it it before either levering it out with a clw hammer or better a slide hammer.
Think dt/XT ones fit but not 100% sure.
Luckily I found a no one for my n1
Put a wanted ad up as a lot of people when doing restorations cut it off the headstock and fit a UK ignition so have one spare

There are two ways to remove.
1. With the headstock removed a smart tap on the lock barrel with a punch will break the small retainer. The barrel can then be pushed out from the inside.
2. Drill a small hole in the 2 o clock position. This drills though the retainer and the barrel should just pull out if you've done it right.
i have a brand new lock with two keys for sale if you want it. It's an original neimann lock with is what the OE bike used. £22.50 posted should do it.
Let me know if you get stuck and I'll post up a picture of the lock so you can see what I mean.

Hi Guys, sorry, but for some reason I did not get an update to the replies above in my email, so only just saw it. I'd love to take the lock off your hands please. If you could PM me the details, I'll send the cash and delivery instructions. Many thanks. Steve.

doesnt the lock have a 3 digit number stamped on the brass when you open the flap? if so speak to Basildon locks.
I take them off my 125s. Dremel off the head of the pin, then chisel it to remove flap. If the lock doesnt come out without the key, you might have to ruin it. Yambits sell the pins and flaps. I have some locks off 125s but not sure if they fit the 350, same brand though.
