Hi All, I know this thread has been done to death, but on joining this brilliant forum I had the good fortune to be put in touch by a fellow member, with Arrow regarding rebuilding/refurbishing the oil pump on my 4L0. He won't thank me for saying any of this as he's such a modest bloke, but his service, knowledge and attention to detail is nothing short of fantastic. My bike had undergone an engine rebuild/refresh at a Yamaha dealer in the South of England, just before I bought it, rebore, pistons, crank rebuilt etc, and had covered less than 100 miles of careful running in when I bought it. Fast forward, ahem a year or two!, with the mileage unchanged, I sent the pump off to Mr Arrow, who found on inspection the oil delivery to be minus 20% at rest. Obviously the dealer hadn't attempted to even check the oil delivery was something like. I would urge all forum members rebuilding their pride and joy not to overlook this vital piece of equipment from a point of safety and expense. Thanks to Arrow and all forum members for all of their help and advice so far, it is very much appreciated.

Thanks Arrow, you are indeed "the man" mate!. Will get the other pump off to you as soon as I get chance, also my brother was very impressed by your work and wants his fleet of TDR 250's to get the same treatment!.
