Today I had my first ride on the LC, still have a little to do before its ready for the MOT but up and down the street is still riding it! I haven't fitted the rear pegs as I can't fit the chain guard as all the brackets have been cut off. Hopefully the battery arrives tomorrow and I can get all the lights working, then its just a case of getting it for a MOT

Likely I'll get a talking to for the brake discs too. I plan to strip it right down after the summer and have the frame blasted & painted, and try to build it up best I can as original looking, which is stupid as its a mongrel 250 / 372! Still looks better in the pictures but its coming on nicely now:) Cheers JTP

I think you need a chain guard for a MOT, having said that if you do not have rear footrests this may not be the case but no really sure. Might be worth asking the test centre the question before taking bike in for the MOT Rich.

Did a few more jobs today, fitted the re-con oil pump, Thanks again Arrow forgot just how much like new it looked after your magic, changed a few nuts and bolts to the correct type, replaced the seals on the master cylinder but still to re bleed the brakes. Had to get on it again today, round and round the garden with my 15 month old son sitting up front, never too early to get him into bikes:) Hopefully Yodel bring the new battery tomorrow and I get all the lights working correctly then its MOT next week

Great work and i take it pre tie bar also, still gota love those colours It has got tie bars, was always my favourite colours when I was a yoof, when I saw the bike for sale with our local area registration I thought I better take it home and pretend I was 17 again, instead of having my(terrible) GSX250!
