hi guys if a two stroke has the correct compression could the crank case seals still be buggered. as i have an engine that has spark, fuel, but will not fire the timing is bang on. dont know what else to do other than set fire to it.

Does it smell strongly of petrol?
Have had it when the floats have been too high or passing and it's left puddles of fuel in the crankcase.
Will never start that rich.
Plugs out and kick it over hard for a while then leave overnight to help evaporate.
Also get some welders gloves on, heat the plugs with a blow lamp then fit and try
Pressure test kit is a good idea
