I was wondering is there anybody doing the repair on powervalve cylinders where the p/v has worn away the barrel where they slide into.. By using some sort of bush perhaps.. I emailed pjme but they don"t provide this service.. Tks..

The repair can be done by a competent engineer. A few forum members have had this done. I'm sure you'll be shortly advised who can do the job.

I know Stan used to do it for £30 a pop but that was many years ago

I asked Bob Farnham about this, and I seem to remember him not wanting to do it for whatever reason. From memory it was something about it being a fiddly job, with no gaurentee it would last.
One of my spare YPVS barrels could do with this done. If I ever get round to using it I was going to get it machined bigger at my local machine shop, then turn up an oversized bush for the power valves myself. Although bespoke to that barrel, it would surely be good as new.
A bit like a rebore with a bigger piston.
