Awesome skills Slinger, thanks for posting Hblair, you are right regards quality works. I found my old laptop this morning and it was listed in the favourites bar. I downloaded over 40 pics this morning, ready to load onto this thread. There are some weird and wonderful pipes over in Japan for sure. I also tried another website -runner.jp - but for some reason I couldn't access that now. I did have some pics of their showroom full of mint Lc's, and a rack full of tanks A lot of the pics I downloaded are quite small but I will load them up anyway - people can always zoom in Dusty

Yea left sided cornering only! Wonder how long it took to make them ? Dusty Once you have sorted the design out (that's what takes the time) not a whole lot longer to be honest. It's the up front that takes time, once that is sorted it just making pipes . The pipe maker would have to think long and hard to see if it's worth making them in the first place........how many do you think you would sell.....not many IMO

I agree, how many people would see them as a practical set of pipes on a road bike ? You would be devastated if you scraped them for sure. I downloaded loads of pics of Jap made pipes, and the vast majority have the crossover downpipes- something that didn't/hasn't caught on over here. Any benefit with the crossovers ? Dusty

This thread just gets better and better. Do these pipes all come out on the right side so that you get to show them off to the max when the bikes on the side stand...ie tipped up?
Shame to hide the banana swing arm with pipes...always think The other side looks like scaffolding in comparison

I would imagine the side stand causes an extra issue if the exhausts both exited on the left, plus the chain drive. And as you say 2big, they show up more exiting on the right side Dusty

Dusty Hi Dusty . I think the crossover thing came from needing a certain tuned length , but not wanting the pipes to stick out too far at the rear . Oh and the TDR250's have 'em as standard . I noticed a set of 2 into 1 pipes in one of the pics but I was of the understanding that this set up didn't work well on 2strokes . Can anyone enlighten me ?
