Just heard two stroke bikes have been banned Amsterdam due to pollution. I hope the rest of Europe don't see this as a good example and start to follow suit.

We replaced all the decking at the rear of our house a couple of weeks ago and have just burned all the old wood, a big pile of rubber mats, half a dozen old fence panels and a huge pile of branches from the garden this afternoon. I've never seen as much thick, black smoke in my life and it took about four hours to burn it all too. Banning two strokes won't make a scrap of difference to the environment while ever there's a***holes like me about who love a big smokey fire every now and then. They're just wasting their time completely.

(Best done when neighbours have a full line of washing out, and are down wind............c**ts)

Funny you should mention fires i keep an apple orchard tidy and when its dark i dispose of my tyres. You have to pay to get rid of your tyres over here.
Norbo the classic car brigade got well shafted with the new enviroment laws. First they had to start paying tax and then in some cities they were told you cant drive your car here, but you still have to pay road tax. Road tax is expensive here a big suv (landrover) will set you back 2500 euro's a year.
I am lucky i own a series 2a Landrover its so old i don't have to pay tax and apparently it environmentally friendly so i can drive around in the all the environmentally friendly cities.
