Hi all,
Ive owned my 125lc mk3 since winter 2006, when i brought the bike it already had fitted a ledar nozzle kit. Since then when i restored the bike i replaced all the parts in the carb, excluding the slide, and of course the ledar spray tube. The pilot jet i removed was 2.5 in size (i believe standard size) so i have replaced it with a new one the same size.
However i have heard somewhere that when fitting a ledar kit, you are supposed to change the pilot jet, do any of you lads know if this is correct?
I have rode the bike about 1500 mile since i have owned it and it seems to go fairly well, however with me and a mate hoping to ride our LC's up to Norbo's barbacue in a few weeks, i want it running as good as i possibly can! ;D
Any info would really be appreciated
Thanks
Scott

You dont replace the pilet jet . You usualy get an air screw with the kit . With that pipe you need to go up a jet size or 2 but the only way it to do a plug chop on the bike .

Thanks for that. Im actually running a allspeed pipe on it now with a 220 main jet (tried 230, to large) + a genuine oil pump cable (pumping correct quantity now) So now all i'm waiting for to arrive is my new clutch plates, get it back together and finish running in (150-200 miles to go)

sorry what i meant was what did these kits offer in the form of performance , im not an expert on these kits but i think the principle is basicaly when you stick a k&n pod filter on a bike designed to run a big air box the chrome back plate on the k&n causes pulses in the air flow due to its designe and a COMPLETE ledar kit with the extension tube for the air filter, the extra air jet as well as the tapered emulsion tube are designed to correct the flow of air to make it nice and smooth again, hence why they called them ledar air correction kit.

use to run a allspeed pipe and a 240 main jet also you need to use a spacer tube when using a ram air filter
