I've just finished replacing oil pump and sorting clutch on my n1, I've had the carbs off and checked the floats and given them a clean. The bike started 3rd kick and ran for about a minute but seemed to bog down when off the choke. It eventually died and won't restart. Had plugs out twice, they were wet. I've put premix in the tank whilst setting oil pump up, could that have caused a problem? I put 167ml into 5 litres to give 30:1, does that sound ok? Any other ideas? Cheers

Premix 30:1 should not give any problems. Clearly you have done something wrong with the carbs..
Start with the usual suspects:
Slides in the correct position Bowls in the correct position Vacuum hose to tank connected Choke hose between the carbs connected
Should not be that hard..

Highly embarrassing! Not enough fuel in tank so moved lever to reserve, bingo! What an idiot!

Hey they always say never overlook the obvious. We've probably all been guilty of this at one stage or another.
