I've got a MK2 RD125LC, nearly finished sorting it all out other than the near side front indicator just won't tighten up at all and the battery side side panel won't clip on at the bottom. It's nowhere even near reaching, the battery Is the same size and so is the holder for it? Any advice on these?

the side panel is held in place by 3 rubber grommets. 1 on the bottom of the fuel tank and 2 on the frame. make sure that these areas for holding the grommets haven't become bent as this will determine the position of the side panel.

as well as what Jay says, left side panels can be warped from previous battery overheating events, but it normally causes them to pop off the lower grommet, not to be unable to reach at all. It's quite common for the tank grommet area to be bent inwards or outwards. Try lining it up with the tank off.

sorted it, turns out battery box hadn't located properly into the slot. Anyone ever had any problems with one revving up to 5k when first started and not revving correctly but when turned off and then fired up it seems great, rides, runs and revs fine? i think it could be a problem with the choke but just thought id seek advice first

are you keeping an eye on the mixture? the revs will go up if it goes leaner. Sometimes caused by left crank seal leaking, but that usually ends up with bike not starting at all.

It runs great apart from just after start up on choke when it's not revving up and down right, ticking over at 5k ish. Turn it off and start up without the choke and its perfect
