Is this not the definitive world wide list on RD350LC.net ?.

Got me baffled also. Was interested in buying it,expensive but thought if I factor in the fact in doesn't need paint it would be a viable option. I quite like it in silver, but what about the rd350 on side panels-they would also have to be in silver???

It would be possible to put a decal over it (if it's the same size as a replica one?) or get some clever dude to outline or airbrush round the letters, thats what I'd think about doing....

That's unusual with the silver decals. I met the seller once, he's a really nice guy, a true enthusiast. He has restored many bikes over the years to a very high standard.

Years ago on a now obsolete forum a similar discussion took place, from memory it was suggested that the last of the NOS Yamaha boxed tanks came with the silver decals ? Don't know how true coz never had one and certainly never seen one in the flesh, if you do have a new boxed one stashed away take a peek inside to see !
The seller will either get the asking price or not, it's not overpriced and someone with pots of cash will snap it up for sure.

I think thats why its been listed at least once before, factor in re-painting it and its too much for most.. Not a fan of the silver lettering myself, no matter where it originated.

I'm sure if it was a uk 3-stripe colour (quite rare) or the more common 2-stripe colour then it would have been snapped up by now. Or bid up anyway.
