So, I posted up a picture of a front brake disc on a bike a pizza delivery guy brought in for an mot a couple of weeks ago. A bmw car came in today for an mot and it got me thinking about the things I've seen in the past. I thought I'd share any classics with you for your thoughts/comments. Remember these mofos are driving around on the same roads we are bluehazing up!!! Enjoy!!! Starting with the aforementioned brake disc Then the car today nearside rear tyre And the offside rear tyre inner sidewall

And some people think there's no need for the mot scheme in modern times. Glad you failed it one more death trap off the road.

Are those tyres bad?? I thought the canvas inner was there to soften the ride and reduce the amount of potholes on our roads. Mmmmmm. Lol There are some clowns about..

In Holland you do not need an mot for a motor cycle and when i tell my dutch mate it's mad they think i'm mad, Also my Landrover is more than 40 years old and needs an mot every two years, which means it costs me a new disc brake every now and again due to too long an interval during mot checks. I'm all for mot checks

There is an easy solution to a lot of the damage seen on vehicles at MOT time and it makes me mad that the Government don't pass a law. Concrete tyres and rubber roads !! Simple really isn't it - no more damage from hard road surfaces and think how it would benefit us bike riders if we take a tumble Concrete "tyres" would virtually never wear out either and if you did damage one polyfilla would be a cheap and easy fix ! Perhaps we should start a petition A very bored Dusty, sat at home with the flu !!!

And anyway, what mix of concrete and type of aggregate are you proposing? Poly filler? ......now that's a bodge job and you know it......Come on, be serious.....

It would work I'm sure. If you mix the filla with some washing up liquid (plasticiser) it would definitely work And, more worryingly, I'm not taking any meds Dusty

Another little gem. This Gilera came in for an mot today. The seat fell straight off to reveal these new type of fuses we've never come across before. They're only pennies!!!! Lol
