Is it possible to replace the viewing window? is the window part available? or shall I just get the best replacement I can? all advice appreciated

Funny you should ask this question.
In the next couple of weeks I will be replacing mine.
I've bought all the materials to do it (stainless bar, watch glass, o rings) I just have to turn a little surround to form a tolerance fit in the master cylinder and keep it all in.
I'll let you know how I get on.

I make them as required, have sold a few to some guys on here, not heard of any issues, mine are a much simpler fix, pop the old one out, fit mine back in with a dab of superglue all the way round the edge, done it on a good number so far with no issues

There is a guy on ebay doing those for 5 USD or somethi like that. Got one off from him fitted without any issues. But does not look close to original as the lens is just a thin piece of glass that sits on the bottom. I think your best option is to get one of Muttnuts. Here is mine fitted Kostas
