If it's running elec tacho and 52y cdi then my bet is that it is an n1 with bikini fairing and belly pan with model kidney clocks

You need the later 31k f1/n1 pipes that have the cut out to clear the rear wheel spindle To get the most I'd convert it back to full n1 spec. Get the correct pipes, clocks and headlight bracket and take the fairing and belly off. The bits you are removing sell for good money and would fund the bits you need If you describe it carefully it would get its money back on ebay as is I suspect Easy project Steve

Hi Steve, yeah its going as it is, but at least now I can describe it correctly and be safe in the knowledge of what I am selling
It will make what it makes, if I lose some money so be it, I need the space as much as I need the money right now and I have a really nice LC2 now, so this one is surplus
I'll get some photo's up later so people can see what it is and popint out any parts that aren't quite right, may as well get as much info as possible on the thing before selling it

right, taken some photo's and had a good look over it, I reckon its about 95% 31K N1 model, very little 31K LC2 from what I can tell, but please feel free to point things out that you see Anyway, here's some photo's, looks like a 31K LC2, some photo's with the belly pan etc off so you can see the exhausts etc I've had a good look over it and being critical, I noted the following; Good Points: Matching Numbers UK Bike Engine starts and runs ok - bit noisey though - see below Approx 95% 31K N1 (rare model) ! New discs and pads New rear tyre (but needs a tube fitting as it goes down slowly !) New/Recent Chain and Sprockets New/Recent Battery MOT'd until Sept 2016 Bad Points: (Being highly critical now) Top end rattle - at least little ends, but I reckon a rebore will be required - but the bike runs and starts fine Side Stand mounting has had a welding reapir, its a good one, but the stand is at the wrong angle in my opinion Belly pan and Bikini fairing have a few cracks/cracking marks etc Paint work is ok, but not show winning ! Side panels - one has a small crack, one has a broken lug Petrol - original must not work right as it has an additional one fitted Tyres - both go down slowly, I think they need inner tubes fitting as they don't look to have any None standard indicators wiring lom all works, but has had some repairs e.g. new fuse box fitted etc That's about it, hope that helps I am going to stick it in the "For Sale" section now until the weekend, so any serious interest let me know, as it will be on ebay after that

Screen looks to be original - can't really tell from here to be honest.
If it is, be a good swop for the Non-original one you have on that lovely black lc2...

interesting.... Safe to say it's not an LC2 Agree with Steve, My N1 has steering lock on headstock and ignition, plus has all brackets for fairings, as did my original one back in the day. My black German N1 also has the same configuration but minus the lock on the ignition.
Intriguing how someone has gone to the trouble of fitting an electronic tacho into the Kidney clocks. Sounds like it may have been a loved project at some point rather than a mongrel...

sorry... Missed the 2nd page... Been away for a few days and busy catching up. One other thing, the steering is going to feel really lazy like that as the forks need to be through the yokes equivalent to the thickness of the clip ons that are originally fitted to the N1. The forks on this are flush with the yoke. Reg

Hi Reg, yes your right, I think there was some kidney clocks with the electronic tacho in as these look correct and not bodged, so I think there was a model with them fitted, but which one I've no idea, think smoebody further back in the thread mentioned this as well
either way, its good to know what it is so at least I can be honest when selling it

Mine did but I assumed the ignition had been swapped as was a different key. Now got a matching lock set but does not have the lock on the ignition so euro Steve

Definitely 2 locks. Lock on the stem tube that no-one used and one on the ignition. Press and turn through about 90 degrees to put in lock, then a further click for parking light.

31K Front Mudguard doesn't have the curved bits othat wrap onto the forks, forks and calipers don't look like 31K at least compared to mine
The steering lock on the headstock would've suggested European, mines swiss but has no steering lock on the ignition
There are more learned folk on here than me though
