A while back i bought some second hand parts from a trick big bore engine set. one of the items was the ignitech unit. (with no wires attached) Can anyone out there explain how i can wire it up in very simple way? its for use on a 4L0 bike Cheers in advance Tobyjugs

Thanks all sorted now even with the wiring table i found it a bit difficult but luckily muttsnuts has helped me over a few messages

I received electrical spares yesterday so made a loom for the ignitech.

Neat loom. What advantages does this have over a standard 4lo ignition?

It just gives a better ignition curve leading to a smoother running engine and can be used to replace parts of the ignition system, but the curve must be programmed in. Muttsnuts is good at this. I you use the search function on this forum and type in ignitech lots of threads will pop up about it.

One day I'll get back to my thread on ignitech and post in the wiring diagram I have. Glad to hear it's sorted. I like the loom you've made. Mine still has all the unused wires attached, wrapped up in shrink tube and curled up behind the sidecover. Illgetbacktoitshortly.
