Does a rd 250 air cooled jl pipes fit a rd 400 ?same size outlets etcand stud pattern

250 and 400 allspeeds are the same part number - I guess that would suggest the distances are all the same.

which model, C/D or E/F as exhausts sizes are different between those models and also the exhaust mounting points are different between the C/D and E/F so be sure you know which you are buying/ordering as otherwise you'll have alot of swearing going on trying to fit them !

My mate had a pair of JL's on his 250e last year and they killed it ,It would only Rev to 7k and was gutless , he ended up putting his old knackered Allspeeds back on and it worked fine , he sent them back to Fondseca and they gave him a full refund, also had some on my 4L0 last year and weren't a patch on my Allspeeds .

The old JL pipes were design to move peak power quite high up 11K+, which an aircooled is never going to reach, and by moving the power up, the would lose out lower down.
