When you guys get your frame powder coated do you plug all holes with old bolts or just tap them all out when it comes back?

Hi I use old bolts but only go as deep as the thread. Any bolt that passes out the other side ie grab rail mounts, will get coated and are a pig to back out again.

I think some companies(Triple S?) do all this and mask bearing surfaces as appropriate too.

I blank all the bolt holes
I also make up cups to blank off the headstock and the centres of wheels.
Even made alloy discs for blanking the disc faces
15mm copper tube is good for cutting just wider than the swing arm pivot holes and flaring the ends to hold it in place. 22mm does the swing arm dog leg bush holes.

The guy I used had a selection of silicon bungs for some of the larger holes, and had some silicon plugs like bolts he put in most of the threaded holes. I then just run a tap through after to clean out the bolt holes , and a bit of emery to clean out the headstock bearing area. Worked well.

Never ever had a blocked thread or a covered bearing surface from triple s.
