Quick question chaps ........
When fitting a YPVS engine (1WT) in a 4L0 frame, should it have the 2 engine mount Spacer Washers fitted (4L0-15328-00) ?.
I assume they fit as per the parts diagram (on offside top mount and nearside bottom mount) and fit in-between the engine mount bush and frame/mount bracket ?.
Cheers

Cool, ta. They've never been fitted on my Hybrid but after a recent engine rebuld which included all new engine mount bushes it feels a bit more vibey. I think it's down to the new bushes being stiffer and the fact that the damper spacers are missing . They look a weird shape in the parts diagram, is it obvious how they fit or do they need to be fitted a certain way around ?. Cheers again

Yeah they are fitted. All they do is sit in the small gap between crankcase and frame and prevent the engine twisting to the left under torque from the chain, hence why they are only fitted to opposite corners. Can only fit them one way as they are D shaped.

That will explain why my left downpipe has also started to cracked on one of the cone welds I'll get the pipe repaired and the spacers fitted and that should sort it Cheers all
