my brother used to hate following me, we used to go to the bmf rally on our bikes an hour of breathing in Castrol R used to make him feel sick lol. He had to invest in a faster bike to get in front

So do we think then that even a tea spoon of R in the tank will do damage?

I'm sure a tea spoon in a full tank wouldn't hurt, but larger quantities mixed with synthetic will congeal and turn into a squishy solid, like dried silicon bathroom sealer. If the spoonful in the tank isn't smelling nice enough, disconnect the pump and run A747 in pre mix format, the plus side of doing this is that you know the oil is where it should be, when it should be, and you're not riding at full chat with 2 fingers hovering over the clutch just in case that 30 year pump decides to sh*t itself at 9000 rpm.
