Hi Guys
bit of advice please....my 31k is nearing completion .... 18 months in... But fuel tank has come back from painters, happy with the job, but my painter has painted the filler neck, where the cap fits... Should I clean this area back to bare metal where cap seals...? Or will it be ok painted...?... If I clean it up, any idea of how to do it the best... I am concerned if I leave painted that the fuel may get under it... Anybody had this issue before... .?
cheers
Gavin

I clean round with a scalpel blade in one hand and the Henry nozzle in the other , seems to cut off pretty easy , best to get it off one way or another though.
