I have heard of them. They are on xaviers site and very rare as only swiss bikes had them.
The head is a 1UA head with a better squish band. The head was never fitted to "our" bikes
The barrels are 64.5mm bore standard giving the bigger 352cc displacement which some people say does not exist but you have the proof.
Technically there should be 2 oversizer of pistons and rings available which would be 1mm oversized for "our" bikes

Forgot to say i think the swiss bikes ran lower power and had the mods for either lower emissions or a power/displacement thing

I have an original 1983 Swiss bike down here in OZ and it definitely has 347 stamped on the barrels and the carbs are 31K and the head is a 2Y
Engine and frame numbers match too
I thought I read that the Swedish bikes were 352cc somewhere on here
Perhaps the F2 was different, I certainly don't know though

Hello,
My first RD350F2 I bought in 1995 is an '86 "1WU" model from Switzerland:
It's restricted for regulation of pollution (standard emissions) with "catalyst" part metal (in the exhaust down pipes) working with unleaded fuel only .
Restriction of noise emission with Different Carb setting (Main jet is 210) + restricted Exhaust (diameter outlet ID 16mm instead of 23mm) + a front sprocket with 18 tooth instead of 17 (to reduce the engine RPM) because a noise law need a measurement of noise @ 80km/h.
This '86 SWISS RD350F2 1WU model was restricted @ 45HP (33.3 kW) for a SWISS law (perhaps for noise again...) by restrictors welded in the inlet of the exhaust pipe.
I never get these restrictors and the bike works fine with more torque @ low RPM compared to standard 1WT version.
I have a second engine and both has the famous "1UA" cylinder head with tronconical squish that shoud equip all 1WT and 3DH1 model but in France they were assembled by YAMAHA with old '83 or '84 RD350LC2 (31K model) instead of new heads stamped "1UA". 31K heads have a spherical squish .
