got a set of f2 forks on lc they seem to be sitting down a bit ie if you put on side stand you can get the handlebars pull them up and it seems like the forks lift back up i know they have air valves on top of forks any sugestions thanks

I think standard is 7 psi.
If you need to up the spring rate the old trick was to shim the springs with 2p pieces.
Had 5 down each side back in the day on my lc2. Best 20p spent

A lot of people have no air at all,they probably need new springs in. Pull em out and check the length is within the tolerance or do as Steve said and spend a penny

In my experiences OEM Valvie (at least) fork springs are ~1/2 to 2/3rds the Rate they should be, to be genuinely effective. Either chop off 4 to 6 coils and insert a PVC pipe as spacer OR buy higher rate springs. Adding preload only affects sag.. Not rate and ride/handling. Air works.. 'sort of' but 'dodgy' is a charitable descriptor for the Yama setup..even when new and fresh. Real issue is the oem spring rate.

Watch Dave Moss videos on YouTube until you get it.. I spent many hours watching and it was worth it. Your asking about static sag, it's nesasary.
